Vinification:
The grapes come from bushvines which start their autumn days in the morning mist. This late season humidity brings on natural botrytis. The grapes are harvested 4 to 5 times to obtain the best ripeness and maintain a perfect natural acid balance with the right sweetness. This, to create a wine of exceptional finesse and balance.
The juice is fermented in 400 liters new French oak barrels with indigenous yeast, then it is matured in oak barrels for 18 months.
Tasting Notes:
| Color: |
Gold. |
| Nose: |
Rich tropical fruits and apricot with a hint of spice. |
| Palate: |
It is fresh, with some green tones, in a lighter style, clean yet unctuously sweet with flavors of peach and apricot, overlaid with tropical fruits such as melon and pineapple. Ripe sweetness and tangy at once, some wood spice on the finish. |
| Other: |
Serve with fruit tarts, wild berries and ice cream, or full flavored cheeses. |
